The flagship model of Honda Motors for Sedan segment Honda Amaze is been recently launched and is getting tremendous response from the consumers with gaining popularity among youth.

Indigo Manza a living proof that how much Tata Motors a home grown company has excelled as automaker. The new Indigo Manza shares its platform with Tata Indigo Vista. Indigo Manza is combo deal of power and luxury. Currently there are eight models of Manza in the market, no other rival company is offering this many variety in the segment.


Honda Amaze is available in petrol and diesel variant. AMAZE has a first ever 1,498cc 4-cylinder DOHC, D-VTEC diesel engine built by HONDA for domestic market and also a petrol model comes with 1198cc, 4-cylinder, SOHC, I-VTEC engine. This diesel engine produces maximum power of 98PS@ 3600rpm and torque of 200Nm@ 1750RPM while the petrol engine is capable of producing maximum power of 87PS@6000RPM and torque of 109Nm@4500RPM. The sedan maintains an amazing mileage of 18KMPL wit petrol and 25KMPL with diesel.

Indigo Manza is built with a 1339cc, 4-cyliner, Common Rail diesel engine which generates maximum power of 95PS@ 6000RPM and torque of 122Nm@ 4200RPM. The diesel engine is capable of churning a best in class mileage of 18KMPL in city and 21KMPL on highway. It has a five gear automatic transmission.


Honda has blessed Amaze with a fresh and beautiful exterior design. The front fascia has dual chrome lined grille and prominent head light clusters which look very appealing. The smooth detailing on doors providing more aerodynamic design and 15- inch alloy wheels give the sedan a sporty touch. The rear is kept quiet simple and pain which offers biggest boot space of 930L in the sedan segment. On the other hand Indigo Manza has flamboyant exterior. The new chrome radiator grille with t body coloured bumper at front looks bold. The chrome strip surrounded round fog lamp with large head light clusters adds more character to the car. The side fascia is treated with split spoke light weight alloy wheels while the Rear has body coloured bumper with radiant fog lamp.


The interior of Amaze has striking similarities with Honda Brio. The dual tone cabin in beige and black theme looks sophisticated. The leather cover upholstery and seats adds luxury to the cabin and the adjustable seats provide better driving position. The central panel and instrument console doesn’t line up and look bit odd but the AC and music system is placed efficiently in the dashboard.

The designers of Tata motors have left no stone unturned in making the interior of Manza luxurious and comfortable. The premium quality leather covered seats are fitted. The black and plum dual coloured interior looks stylish and adds more luxury to the interior. The gear knob and door handles are chrome finished and looks elegant. The adjustable front seats provide ample head and leg room.


The Honda Amaze comes with a list of factory fitted features like USB, Aux-in port and Bluetooth connectivity, Automatic climate control, power windows, power steering and key-less entry.

Indigo Manza offers nothing but the best when it comes to comfort and convenience of occupants. Advanced two din music system with integrated MP3 player is fitted in the dashboard; two speakers are also mounted in the interior. USB and Bluetooth connectivity is given. Music and phone controller buttons are mounted on the steering wheels. The phone button can be use to take or disconnect a call without taking hands off the steering wheel. The two way adjustable lumbar support for the front seat provides comfortable driving position.


The both Sedans are  equipped with best in class safety features like Air bags for driver seats with front and rear seat-belts for the occupant’s safety, Engine immobilizer; ABS (anti lock brake system) with EBD, Central locking, child lock and remote entry for convenience is provided. Front wheel have discs brakes and rear have drums brakes for smooth braking.


HONDA has priced AMAZE at 4.66 – 7.99 lakhs while Indigo Manza will cost around 4.8-6.7 lakhs.


Tata Indigo Manza is one of the most luxurious and spacious sedan available in the market but Amaze offers a more powerful and fuel efficient engine with choice between petrol and diesel model.
