Looks and design:
Hyundai has done a fine job designing the i10 and has brought the Fluidic design elements to the i10. It has sharp looking headlamps and mature design. It has sporty looks and feels very contemporary and certainly one of the best hatchbacks in the segment. Hyundai i10 has been well built and the fit, finish and paint quality is certainly amongst the best in its segment.
Chevrolet Sail UVA has clean lines and neutral styling which feels understated given that it is the second generation of the hatchback which his popular in China. The front feels to be more aggressively styled and resembles the Cruze sedan. It has big headlamps and body colored bumpers and sports very good exterior build quality and while the rear could have been better designed the fit, finish and paint quality is all very good.

Interiors – design, space and features:
Hyundai i10 has loads of interiors features and brings quality interiors compared to its predecessor and some of its rivals in the segment. It has features such as electric mirrors, keyless entry, height adjustable driver seat, air bags, power windows and reverse parking sensor. There are also cubby holes in the spacious cabin and bottle holders while the boot space is 225 liters just about enough to carry your luggage for your weekend getaways.
Chevrolet has done a fair job with interiors in the Sail UVA hatchback and it seems to be well thought out as it comes with one of the most spacious cabins in the segment with plenty of leg room and head room for both front and rear passengers. It also brings air bags, power windows, MP3 music system and and enough seating space for 5 people. It has total space of 248 liters in the boot for your travel luggage.

Engine – performance, power, torque, fuel economy, smoothness:
Hyundai i10 brings a powerful 1.2 liter petrol engine which makes maximum power of 79 BHP at 6000 RPM and maximum of 112 NM of torque at 4000 RPM. Hyundai i10 with its 1.2 liter petrol engine avatar has been rated by ARAI to deliver a maximum fuel efficiency of 20.3 kmpl. It has very good drivability yet remains quite fuel efficient in its class. Hyundai i10 also comes with a 1.1 liter iRDE2 petrol engine which develops 68 BHP and as per ARAI certification delivers a fuel efficiency of 19.81 kmpl.
Chevrolet Sail UVA brings a 1.2 liter S-TEC II petrol engine which makes 79 BHP and 108 NM of maximum torque and delivers a maximum fuel efficiency of 18.3 kmpl and ensures very good drivability. Chevrolet Sail has a very good gearbox which offers smooth shifts and good acceleration. It has very good drivability owing to plenty of low end torque and ample highway performance from its 1.2 liter engine.

Suspension – Ride, comfort and handling:
Hyundai has given the i10 hatchback good road manners and because of that it remains a comfortable and fun to drive hatchback. It has good handling characteristics which ensure a comfortable ride quality at all times and manages to go fast around the corners due to minimized body roll on the car. It has a light steering which doesn’t tire out your arms as you use it in the city and ABS + EBD to aid your deceleration.
Chevrolet Sail UVA has a well composed ride quality owing to its suspension setup which gives it a mature ride quality. It remains stable when driven fast on the highways and when pushed around corners its remains quite stable. Braking improvements come in the form of ABS + EBD which ensure maximum braking capabilities when required. The steering is light weighted and ensures in easy maneuverability of the car.
